Personal Profile

I am a Behaviour Management Consultant with over 10 years experience working in the field of autism.

I work with professionals, families and carers of both children and adults with a diagnosis of ASD and Aspergers Syndrome, combining national and international behaviour management strategies to suit the needs of individuals within their care settings.

I believe in and advocate a ‘person centred approach’ that incorporates the needs of the whole person. My passion and understanding of autism ensures I work intuitively with each individual without assumption or prejudice.

I don’t see ‘sufferers’, I see ‘differences’ and work on the basis of empowering the individual, with skills and strategies to help navigate and understand better our world.

I can provide the tools and skills required to help improve any given challenging behaviour, but in return ask both professionals and parents to question “in whose interest should a behaviour be changed”?

My professional aim is to provide ASD education and understanding to as many professionals and carers as possible, helping those who care to better understand the ‘differences’ experienced by people with autism.
